We're proud to say our customers are at the heart of all we do and we know in order to continue to deliver effective, sustainable and compliant services to them, we need to ensure our policy and research agenda that shapes how we operate as a business is aligned to government strategy and external trends and developments that impact our sector.  That's where you come in.

You'll take a lead on ensuring Abri's response to the ever-changing policy landscape is one that supports our long term strategic vision and continues to support our mission, vision and values.  By taking a lead in managing Abri's engagements with key external stakeholders whether it be politicians, policy makers of political influencers, you'll ensure Abri not only has a seat at the table when being consulted on new policies, but that support is built across these stakeholder groups for Abri's policies and mission.

Aside from proven experience of policy creation and the ability to lead on a strategic policy function, first class networking, communication and influencing skills will be essential as you'll not only work with a wide range of external stakeholders, but also colleagues within the organisation at all levels including the Executive and senior leadership teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape Abri's response to a fast-moving political environment and ensure the realisation of our strategic vision.  If you'd like to learn more about this opportunity, be sure to take a look at the job description.

This role can be based out of our Eastleigh (SO50 6AD), London (W10 5BN) or Bracknell (RG12 1RF) offices.

Abri is a large housing provider who own and manage over 55,000 homes and various community assets, serving more than 120,000 customers across the South of England.

We believe everyone has the right to a good quality safe, warm and sustainable home in a community where they can belong, grow and thrive. What does that look like in real terms?

We’re investing £689m over the next ten years in our existing homes to improve building safety and make them more energy efficient.

  • We’re delivering 10,000 homes by 2030, ensuring affordable housing is built where it’s needed most
  • We’re investing in our communities, to address local issues and create opportunities for everyone

As we grow, we’re re-establishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service. Abri has adopted a regional approach to service delivery, with our operating areas split into three, each with their local governance and leadership. This will ensure our colleagues are more visible, accountable and better connected to our customers and local communities to meet their diverse needs.
