We're committed to providing safe, healthy homes where our customers can thrive. As expectations across the housing sector continue to evolve, tackling damp and mould has never been more important. That's why we're looking for an experienced and passionate Healthy Homes Damp & Mould Senior Operations Manager to help lead one of our most important services.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers live in safe, healthy homes, while helping us shape and improve our Damp and Mould service for the future.

What you'll be doing

Leading a large operational team, you'll provide direction, support and oversight across our Damp and Mould service, ensuring we deliver a proactive, responsive and customer-focused approach every day.

You'll work closely with colleagues, contractors and partners to drive excellent service delivery, improve outcomes for customers and ensure we meet our regulatory responsibilities, including readiness for Awaab's Law.

Using data and insights, you'll help identify trends, tackle issues before they become problems and influence longer-term investment decisions that improve the quality of our homes and reduce future demand.

Most importantly, you'll champion a culture where customers remain at the heart of every decision, ensuring vulnerable customers receive the support and sensitivity they deserve.

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who combines strong operational leadership with a genuine passion for creating healthier homes and better experiences for customers.

You'll feel comfortable leading large teams through change, bringing people together around a shared purpose and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll know how to navigate a complex, regulated environment, balancing customer needs, operational performance and risk while always keeping safety at the heart of your decision-making.

We're looking for someone who understands the causes and challenges of damp and mould and can use that expertise to drive effective, long-term solutions. You'll be naturally curious, using data and insight to spot trends, identify opportunities and help shape future investment decisions that make a lasting difference.

Most importantly, you'll share our belief that everyone deserves a safe, healthy place to call home and be motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference every day.

Why choose us?

Our purpose is simple: creating communities and empowering lives.

We know that our colleagues are key to making this happen, which is why we offer a supportive and inclusive environment where you can bring your whole self to work, develop your career and make a genuine impact.

In return, you'll enjoy a competitive rewards package, flexible working opportunities and the chance to be part of an organisation that's passionate about doing the right thing for its customers and communities.

If you're an experienced leader who wants to help shape the future of Healthy Homes and deliver lasting positive change for customers, we'd love to hear from you.

Come and make a difference with us. Apply today

INDABRI

Abri is a large housing provider who own and manage more than 58,000 homes and various community assets, serving around 113,000 customers across the South of England.

We believe everyone has the right to a good quality safe, warm and sustainable home in a community where they can belong, grow and thrive. What does that look like in real terms?

We’re investing £689m over the next ten years in our existing homes to improve building safety and make them more energy efficient.

  • We’re delivering 10,000 homes by 2030, ensuring affordable housing is built where it’s needed most
  • We’re investing in our communities, to address local issues and create opportunities for everyone

As we grow, we’re re-establishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service. Abri has adopted a regional approach to service delivery, with our operating areas split into three, each with their local governance and leadership. This will ensure our colleagues are more visible, accountable and better connected to our customers and local communities to meet their diverse needs.
